TLT | Luweero Town Council | UGANDA‘s financial sector has registered tremendous growth over the years. This has been characterised by a banks with branches, as well as, those without branches seeing a lot of activity over the years. There have been bank mergers, closures and exits.
All of this has been watched over by the sector regulator — the Central Bank of Uganda.
While the central bank has licenced many banking institutions at various tier levels, not all have adopted the business model that involves owning of physical branch networks, in different Cities and Towns.
The few that have chosen this path, and as such have a physical, on-the-ground presence in Luweero T/C are as follows;
